Use of the Site by persons under the age of 18 is not intended by MRI, Inc.
We do not collect personally identifiable information about you, except when you provide it to us. If you elect to complete a survey, or otherwise disclose, submit or offer information, comments, feedback, suggestions, recipes and ideas to MRI, Inc. , you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information such as your name, electronic mail address, mailing address, gender, birth date, age and telephone number. MRI does not solicit or collect medical or health care information, please do not provide any medical or heath care information to MRI, Inc.
In addition to personally identifiable information submitted by you, MRI may gather information on usage patterns and preferences as visitors navigate through the Site. In gathering this information, MRI, Inc. may use (i) "cookies" or (ii) pixel tags (also called "clear or single-pixel gifs" or "web beacons"). Cookies assign to each visitor and user a unique, random number that resides on your computer and may provide MRI with your IP address. Pixel tags are images contained within pages of the Site that allow MRI to count users who have visited particular pages of the Site or to access certain cookies. Use of Gathered Information
Information that you provide to, or that is gathered by, MRI, Inc. will be used to: (i) contact you, including, without limitation, by creating and delivering electronic mail messages, surveys or other communications; (ii) improve the Site; and (iii) market goods and services of third parties to users of the Site.
Without your permission, we will not share the personally identifiable information that you provide to, or that is gathered by, MRI, Inc. with any third parties except as otherwise provided herein. We will, from time to time, aggregate your information with the information of other users of the Site. Compliance with Law and Protection of MRI, Inc.
MRI, Inc. must reserve the right to release information that you submit or that MRI, Inc. gathers in order to comply with the law. We may also release such information to enforce or apply the Terms and Conditions of the Site (see Terms and Conditions) to protect the rights, property or safety of MRI, Inc. our users, or others.
In the event that MRI, Inc. is acquired by another company, whether through sale, merger or otherwise, information that you submitted to MRI, Inc. may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Protection of Gathered Information
The information that you provide to MRI, Inc. is saved in a single, secure database, accessible only by MRI, Inc. (and our third party hosting service that is prohibited from distributing this information). To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information, we will employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. Unfortunately, no security system is impenetrable and MRI, Inc. cannot guarantee the security of our database, or that information you provide will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.
