Welcome to Mineral Resources International
In 1968, Hartley Anderson read a series
of newspaper articles written by George W. Crane, Ph.D., M.D., conveying the
amazing results people were receiving from drinking a small amount of sea
water daily. Crane theorized that the minerals and trace minerals contained
in sea water, including magnesium, potassium and bromine, played an
essential role in maintaining optimal health.

With this in mind, Anderson began researching
the nutritional properties of the Great Salt Lake, a large inland sea
located in northern Utah. Anderson soon discovered that not only did the
Great Salt Lake contain the same minerals and trace minerals advocated by
Crane, but that Great Salt Lake water was six to ten times more concentrated
than regular ocean water—from a more naturally pure source. Anderson and
a few of his friends began supplementing their diets with small amounts of
purified Great Salt Lake water, and, within a few days, began to notice
powerful results. |

Anderson and his wife, Gaye, began selling this new product to the general
public and it was not long before consumer testimonials began pouring in
further attesting to its effectiveness. The Andersons soon developed a
process harnessing the power of nature to remove the sodium, thereby
creating our proprietary low-sodium, concentrated mineral drops.

In 1969, Mineral Resources International (MRI) was founded with the
manufacturing rights to supply its sister companies and the international
marketplace with private label products and bulk ingredients.
Scope of Marketing
MRI's harvesting division, North Shore Ltd., is located at the northern tip
of the Great Salt Lake on more than 230 acres of pristine shoreline. MRI is
presently the only licensed producer on the lake producing a food grade
product.
MRI's headquarters are located in Ogden, Utah. Our modern facility includes
more than 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space. After the minerals are
harvested from our remote North Shore location, we then process the
minerals, conducting numerous tests, before incorporating them into our line
of dietary supplements. MRI's quality assurance manager, in-house chemist
and laboratory staff work closely with manufacturing to ensure optimal
quality, purity and safety.
MRI has developed several products combining its cornerstone liquid mineral
product with quality vitamins, herbs, enzymes and other important
nutrients to create the most complete, high quality line of nutritional
products available in the marketplace. Today, MRI manufactures over 50
quality products ranging from our complete daily
multi-vitamin and multi-mineral supplements to our specialized bone and
joint formulas—each
built on the benefits of minerals from Utah's Great Salt Lake. MRI's
finished products include liquids, powders and tablets.
MRI sells finished, packaged products to several established distributors
within the United States and throughout the world including North and South
America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific Rim.
For more than 32 years, MRI and the Anderson family have been dedicated to
providing only the finest nutritional dietary supplements using ionic
minerals and trace minerals harvested from our pristine source located on
the north shore of Utah's Great Salt Lake. You can take confidence in not
only the quality of MRI products but in the commitment of MRI to its
employees and to the environment.
